Benevolent Dawn is a perk of the middle-tier Dawnblade subclass for Warlocks in Destiny 2. It grants the user regeneration of grenade, melee, and Rift energy upon healing or empowering allies.

Since the Attunement of Grace subclass is full of perks that benefit other players, Benevolent Dawn should be passively working at all times to keep abilities recharging quickly. Additionally, weapons like Lumina can also trigger the effect when shooting allies.

Divine Protection will convert the Warlock’s grenade into a blessing that heals allies and drops overshields that the party can pick up. Guiding Flame will empower the Warlock and nearby allies whenever an enemy is struck with the melee ability. Finally, Well of Radiance is the draw of this tree, as it creates an AoE effect that continuously heals and empowers anyone standing in it.

While Destiny 2 isn’t a game built around the holy trinity of a tank, healer, and DPS to clear its content, players can still put together a great support build that would be gladly welcomed into any fireteam.
