What is the Gold Card used for in Sonic Frontiers?

In the case of fishing, it’s the Gold Card. You can play the fishing game at any Fishing Spot around the map that you can recognize by its Purple Portal icon on the map. Once you go there, the portal will transfer you to another world where you can also find Big the Cat near the lake.
