In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players who choose the Water-type starter, Oshawott, will eventually have their Pokémon evolve into the new regional evolution, Hisuian Samurott. Hisuian Samurott differs from its original variant mostly in its typing. This Samurott will come with a Dark-typing alongside its native Water-type.
