Why Super Sized Salon Season 1 Was A Success
After Jamie’s passing, it was revealed that she was getting ready to film the show’s second season. Given that it was the first of its kind, the first season, which premiered on WE TV in July 2022, got the attention of many plus-sized people. Season One was a complete success. The show did not only detail the entire journey of Jamie’s all-body-inclusive beauty clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. It also highlighted both the workers and the clients of the salon. The WE TV series tracked the development of the Las Vegas salon and her astounding 400-pound weight loss journey. It also captured the unforgettable moment she was able to enter the salon for the first time.
Jamie Had A Good Relationship With June “Mama June” Shannon
Jamie’s salon was a favorite of another reality star, June “Mama June” Shannon. Mama June and her two daughters appeared on Super Sized Salon in its inaugural season. In the show’s fourth episode, she received a makeover that included hairstyle at a salon and bonded with Jamie over her pain at that time. Jamie told Mama June how much pain she had to deal with.
