Surprising to some, Roblox has actually had VR capabilities on the platform for quite a while. Though when compared to the number of Xbox, mobile, and standard PC users that play Roblox, the number of users who access the platform through VR is much smaller—it still stands well above zero. So with this noted compatibility, does that mean that Roblox is accessible through the Oculus Quest 2?
Unfortunately, the answer to this question isn’t as straightforward as we’d like. While Roblox is technically accessible on the Quest 2, it’s not in the way that most people hope. The Roblox app is nonexistent on the Oculus’s digital store, so instead, players will need to stream the Roblox website from their computer to their Quest 2.
Getting started with Roblox VR
This process isn’t too difficult, but it does require a few steps.

Future of Roblox VR
Roblox’s Investor Day presentation occurred on Nov. 16, 2021, and with it came numerous announcements, including further development on layered clothing, new opportunities for educational collaborations, and more. In a since-deleted tweet, Roblox also hinted at a possible Oculus app coming in the near future. The tweet, which can be found below, featured images of a tablet, phone, laptop, PlayStation, and Oculus headset, along with a caption that promoted Roblox’s urge for platform-wide accessibility.
As mentioned above, the featured tweet has now been deleted and only lives in screenshots, so there’s no official date as to when this app will come to fruition. If Roblox makes another announcement, or reposts this tweet, Pro Game Guides will make an update post accordingly.
