If you have just started playing Fortnite recently, you may not have any idea where the Stack Shack is. For much of Chapter 2 Season 3, it has been underwater, only showing up again as the water receded. You also could have been playing Fortnite for a while and never gone there, as it is a very isolated area, with not much to offer in the way of loot.

You can find the Stack Shack on the west coast of the island, to the northwest of Holly Hedges, and the southwest of Sweaty Sands. It is just a small shack the sits on a rock that juts out of the sea. You’ll need to plan in advance, as there is no easy way up to it, so we would suggest taking a helicopter or dropping directly onto the spot if you can.

The main reason to visit it in Chapter 2 Season 3 is for a Week 6 challenge that tasks you with catching a weapon. The good news here is that there is always a barrel of fishing rods at the Stack Shack, so you don’t need to worry about hunting one down before you get here.

There should also be multiple fishing spots within range of the Shack Stack, so that is a pretty easy challenge to complete when you know where to go. You might get lucky and find a couple of loot spawns here, but it’s not exactly the kind of place that people will normally drop in. Once you are done, you can head to Sweaty Sands or Holly Hedges to get properly looted up for your match.
