Trainers looking to farm Passimian Fur in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will need to know where to find and catch Passimian, Fighting-type lemur-like pocket monsters. This Pokémon species possesses relatively decent Atk, making it a choice mid-tier fighter in Trainer Battles or Tera Raid Battles where Fighting-type Movesets are the preferred counter. Similar to its counterpart Oranguru, Passimian does not have any evolutions. Moreover, it is essential to note that the Passimian Pokémon is a Violet exclusive. As a result, Scarlet players can only get this lemur-like pocket monster through trading or entering a Violet host’s world in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Finding Passimian in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To find and catch Passimian in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers only need to visit a single area in the Paldea map — the Tagtree Thicket. This Fighting-type lemur can also be found in a few spots within North Province (Area Two), but the Tagtree Thicket is the best location to find packs of this Violet-exclusive Pokémon roaming the woodlands.

Where to Catch Iron Hands in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

After encountering Passimian in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the next step is to weaken the lemur in order to catch it. Those who have reached the end or postgame portion of their playthrough will likely have enough Ultra Balls to capture this Violet exclusive instantly. However, players who meet this pocket monster during their journey through the main campaign should consider which elements can counter this Fighting-type creature. Accordingly, Passimian is resistant to Bug-, Rock-, and Dark-type Movesets. On the other hand, Game8 states that this lemur is weak to Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-type attacks. As a result, Espeon, Staraptor, or Gardevoir would be excellent counters.

If Trainers would like to enhance Passimian’s Fighting-type punch Moves in combat, they are recommended to purchase the Punching Glove, a Held Item that bolsters punching Moves. After defeating four Gym Leaders, this item will become available at the Mesagoza Delibird Presents for 15,000 Pokédollars. Alternatively, players can defeat Trainers in East Province (Area Three) to receive the Punching Glove as a reward from the League Rep near the Pokémon Center in Zapapico. While the combat improvement is not too significant, the Punching Glove’s buff can help those aiming to use Passimian often in battles.
