The Gnome are back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. After their prolonged war with the bears, things we all quiet at the start of the season, but the Gnomes have once again appear on the map. This time, they are having a GNOM Talk on the south side of the island.
You can get an easy 25,000 XP if you drop in and visit the GNOM Talk, so in this article, we will show you where to find it. You will need to make your way to the southern tip of the island, below Apres Ski, and there you will find the Gnomes clustered around a stage, listening to a guest speaker.
If you go close to the stage and listen for a few moments, disaster will strike. The Slurp barrel beside the Gnome on stage will explode, and appears to kill them. When this step is completed, you can move on to The Aftermath, the next step in these secret challenges.
This could be bad news for all involved. Was it an accident? Did the bears set a booby trap to take out the guest speaker? Has the fragile peace that was struck between the two warring sides already fallen apart? It could even have been a third party, looking to once again sow discord between the two groups.
For now, it is all a mystery, and hopefully we will be finding out more as the weeks go on. Don’t forget, there are a new set of challenges in the game today, and a new Wolverine challenge as well.
