Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 rolls on, with more quests and objectives for players to complete. The first part of the Rebuilding Quests in the game tasks the player with establishing a Device Uplink at either Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, or Command Cavern.
How to Establish Device Uplink in Fortnite
The Device Uplinks look like small discs on the ground that project a holographic logo resembling a Wi-Fi symbol. Activating them will unlock the next stage of the quest automatically. Since only one Device Uplink needs to be established, we can choose any one location from these three POIs.
Condo Canyon
- Next to the “Welcome to Condo Canyon” billboard to the northCorner House on a small hill to the northeastBeside the billboard to the south
Coney Crossroads
- Near the Checkpoint to the northIn between the trees northeast of the Gas StationBy the roadside to the south, just beyond the Checkpoint
Command Cavern
- Near the tunnel entrance to the base to the westBy the fence towards the northern entrance of the baseNear the southern entrance to the base, on the grass
In order to establish the Device Uplink, all players need to do is to walk over it. The player will receive confirmation when a member of The Seven starts a dialogue. However, players should take caution as these areas are guarded by IO members who will shoot on sight. Completing this quest will grant a massive 40,000 XP, and unlock the next stage of the Rebuilding quest.
