If you’ve ever played Bayonetta 1, or Bayonetta 2, you should already know that Bayonetta 3 is filled with loads of hidden encounters called Verses. More often than not, they are rather difficult to locate. In addition, they typically produce battles with more difficult enemies or even older enemies from the previous games. They’re a fun collectible that keeps the game interesting, but they aren’t the easiest to find, as I stated earlier. So, in this article, I will go over how to find each of them. Keep reading to learn more about how to find all the hidden Verses in Bayonetta 3!
Prologue: A Chaotic Encounter
Verse #1 will be the first encounter when you enter the cruise ship.
Verse #2 is located within the beginning battle with the Infernal Demons.
Verse #3 can be found in the Kraken battle, completing the final Bayonetta 3 Verse hidden in the Prologue.
Chapter 1: Scrambling for Answers
Verse #1 begins once you finish the cutscene with the Homunculi.
Verse #2 will be located in the center of the level, in the middle of a raised surface.
You will need to use Gomorrah’s Bite attack 3 separate times for this challenge and will be rewarded with a Broken Witch Heart.
Verse #3 can be found above the waterfall, in the area where you had to destroy an orb.
Verse #4 is found in the middle of the main road leading through the Chaotic Rift.
Verse #5 is found on a rooftop when you first visit Tokyo.
Utilize Gomorrah’s Slide Sequence.
Verse #6 can be found to your immediate right when you begin the Shibuya area of the chapter.
This battle will require you to blow kisses with Madame Butterfly and reward you with a Broken Moon Pearl.
Verse #7 can be found in the middle of the Main Street in Shibuya. It’s really hard to miss.
Verse #8 is located on the rooftops above Shibuya.
Verse #9 is on the floor level of the central tower.
Verse #10 can be found after you’ve found Rodin’s Demon Pulse and before you bust open the ground where the yelling man is. You will have to head directly to your left after the cutscene. The Verse will be located near the end of the road.
This Verse will reward you with a Broken Witch Heart.
Verse #11 can be found under Shibuya in the tunnels.
Verse #12 is also in the tunnels below Shibuya.
Verse #13 can be found directly after leaving the tunnels.
A cutscene will show first. Then you will begin the final Verse battle in Chapter 1, finishing the final Bayonetta 3 hidden Verse.
Chapter 2: City on Fire
Verse #1 can be found to your right as soon as you start the chapter.
Verse #2 will begin after you keep progressing from the beginning location.
A cutscene will begin, and when it ends, you’ll start the second Verse.
Verse #3 will be right next to the screen that projects MC Enzo’s show.
You’ll have to climb up some platforms below the blue and white sign to get to this one. However, you will be rewarded with a Broken Moon Pearl.
Verse #4 can be found directly after you finish with the water tower.
Verse #5 is hidden in the same area where Verse #4 happens.
It will be found in a corner of the arena and hidden quite well, so look hard for this one.
Verse #6 can be found by continuing on past the Verse #4 and #5 area.
Verse #7 begins directly after Verse #6 with no breaks in between.
Verse #8 can be found between the two large towers at the end of Chapter 2.
You will have to fight the boss, Twilight Wanderer: Strider, to complete the final hidden Verse in Chapter 2 of Bayonetta 3.
Chapter 3: A Sinking Feeling
Verse #1 can be obtained by taking the moving platforms up.
Verse #2 Is located on a rooftop.
To finish this Verse, you’ll need to build up 4,000 combo points.
Verse #3 will begin after a cutscene featuring an old friend of yours.
Verse #4 will be able to be found in the next portion of the level
As the terrain will be difficult to trek, using Witch Time will be beneficial for you in this area.
Verse #5 will begin directly after you enter the next area of the level.
Verse #6 will begin after a cutscene featuring an alternative Bayo and Phantasmaraneae.
Part of this Verse will involve swinging between buildings, so be prepared.
Verse #7 will begin directly after you’ve handled the Spider Gauntlet.
This Verse is where you will learn your Synchronized Soul move.
Verse #8 will happen right after Verse #7.
There will be a quick cutscene in between, then throw you right back into battle.
Chapter 4: Worlds Apart
Verse #1 will happen right down the main route from where this chapter began.
Verse #2 can be found when you reach the Great Wall area.
Take a right when you enter the area and follow the wall down to the end.
Verse #3 is in the lava area.
Look for the cracked wall, and you’ll find this Verse.
Verse #4 can be found by using your Cannon Signals and Blast Signals to make your way through all the demon locations.
Use your abilities to break Virga, and you can earn a Bewitchment.
Verse #5 can be found straight forward from where you found the 4th figure box in this chapter.
Verse #6 can be seen from the rooftop of some small buildings.
Verse #7 can be found near the unsealed door.
It will be hiding behind a large metal weapon.
Verse #8 is through a hole in the wall at the end of the chapter.
A cutscene will occur just before the Verse Battle begins, and you finish the final Bayonetta 3 Chapter 4 hidden Verse.
Chapter 5: Hot Pursuit
Verse #1 happens at the beginning of this chapter.
Smash and orb to begin the battle.
Verse #2 can be found just past the partially opened door.
This is a more difficult Verse, but it will reward you with a Broken Moon Pearl.
Verse #3 will take you back to the very beginning of the chapter.
It will be hidden behind a door to your left.
Verse #4 can be found in the main courtyard.
Verse #5 will begin after you follow after Luca.
Entering the building will start the 5th Verse.
Verse #6 will happen shortly after you pick back up on your Luca Chase.
You’ll have to sit through a cutscene and dodge some obstacles on your way to collect a Bewilderment before the Verse will begin.
Verse #7 can be found down a set of steps after you complete Verse #6.
Verse #8 is at the end of a tunnel.
There will be a walkway to your right. Follow it.
Verse #9 will happen in the next arena area.
You’ll have to fight with Luca and defeat him to complete the 9th Verse.
Chapter 6: Off the Rails
Verse #1 will be hidden by a cracked door behind you as you start the new chapter.
Break through the door to reveal the Verse.
Verse #2 can be found straight down the walkway past the Lava Wheel.
Verse #3 will begin when you head through the doorway to the main courtyard.
Verse #4 is automatically triggered by your progress through the chapter.
Verse #5 is off to your right, at the bottom of the stairs.
Verse #6 is very close to the 4th Verse and can be seen right next to it.
Verse #7 is after the cutscene featuring the Pyrocumulus.
It can be found at the end of a crumbling portion of the road.
Verse #8 can be found in the level above you.
Take the lift to reach the area, and obtain a Witch Heart for completing this Verse.
Verse #9 will begin as soon as you re-enter the main courtyard.
There is a chance to gain a Bewitchment if you doge all of the fiery debris that gets launched at you by the Pyrocumulus.
Verse #10 will start after another cutscene.
This one will require you to, once again, avoid Pyrocumulus’ fiery debris and kill it with your turret gun.
Verse #11 is a battle against Arch-Pyrocumulus.
Chapter 7: Burning Sands
Verse #1 will begin in the center platform before you reach the two large towers at the beginning of this chapter.
Verse #2 can be located past the towers.
It glows pink, making it fairly easy to see.
Verse #3 will automatically begin when you enter the Chaotic Rift.
Verse #4 can be started after you reach the desert portion of the chapter.
You will meet up with Cheshire during this Verse.
Verse #5 will require you to ride Cheshire to get some water.
The Verse will begin directly after this happens.
Verse #6 can be found in a hidden area behind the cliffs.
There will be a small path that you will need to follow.
Verse #7 can be found by continuing on forward after finding Verse #6
Verse #8 will require you to hop across some platforms to reach the other side of the sand.
Verse #9 will automatically begin when you travel away from the River of Sand portion of the chapter.
Verse #10 will happen after you enter through the main door.
You will be reunited with Luca and begin another cutscene, followed by the 10th Verse.
Verse #11 will automatically begin after a cutscene.
When you finish Verse #10, another cutscene will begin, followed by this chapter’s final Bayonetta 3 Verse.
Chapter 8: A Croaking Chorus
Verse #1 will begin automatically as soon as you complete the first cutscene in the chapter.
Verse #2 can be started by heading into the arena tower.
Verse #3 is off to the side of the tower.
Verse #4 can be found in the quicksand.
If you travel through the tunnels in the quicksand, you’ll find this Verse, as it’s fairly hard to miss.
Verse #5 can be found by heading up the staircase to the next chamber.
As you enter, the Verse will begin.
Verse #6 can be found at the top of the stairs to the left.
Once you’re at the top of the stairs, you’ll find a secret area that contains the 6th Verse.
Verse #7 will begin automatically as you travel back past the exit.
Chapter 9: Learning to Fly
Verse #1 can be found just past the waterfall.
Verse #2 can be found in the temple to the right.
Once inside, you must interact with the red glow to begin the 2nd Verse.
Verse #3 can be found at the top of the temple where all the Malphas are.
You will get a Broken Witch Heart as a reward for finishing this Verse.
Verse #4 will be triggered as you head up the stairs to the summit.
A cutscene will begin and end with the beginning go the Verse.
Verse #5 can be found in the temple with the windmills.
Once you are in, go through the biggest door to find the Verse.
Verse #6 is located down the hallway from the 5th Verse.
Verse #7 can be found in a large room.
This can be found past the corridor to the right of you.
Verse #8 can be located by continuing on into the next room after you’ve completed Verse #7.
Verse #9 is in the following room after the rooms that house Verse #7 and Verse #8.
Verse #10 can be found in the large room.
This room will be filled with gold.
Verse #11 will be started after a quick cutscene.
You will have to do a bit of flying for this Verse and even mix in a bit of shooting with it.
Verse #12 is triggered as you enter the next battle.
Verse #13 begins directly after the cutscene that follows the previous Verse hidden in Bayonetta 3.
How to Save Your Game in Bayonetta 3
Chapter 10: Cover of Night
Verse #1 will be located beyond the moving platforms at the beginning of the chapter.
Verse #2 is near a Summon Barrier.
It will be located below a tower’s bridge.
Verse #3 is located in the new arena, past the magical door.
Verse #4 will automatically trigger as you pass over into the Chaotic Rift.
Verse #5 will trigger automatically again after you finish the 4th Verse.
Verse #6 can be located in Paris.
It will be to the right of the main road.
Verse #7 is through the portal.
You will have to travel down the side street to the left of the 6th Verse to find the portal.
Verse #8 will automatically trigger mast the main arch directly after the cutscene.
Chapter 11: A Familiar Dance
Verse #1 will be found near the starting point for this chapter.
Verse #2 will be indicated by a yellow glow.
You will have to follow through the area to the left side.
Verse #3 can be found in the Main Street.
You will have to pass the underground to get back to the Main Street. However, it’ll be difficult to find this Verse. It will be hidden in a corner on the other side of the floating platforms.
Verse #4 will trigger automatically when you head back to the main path.
Verse #6 can be found inside the Chaotic Rift.
You’ll have to enter the platforming section of the chapter.
Verse #7 will show up shortly after you finish Verse #6.
Verse #8 is the final boss battle of the 10th Chapter.
