Completing your Pokedex in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is a huge task. This is because many of the Pokemon are hidden away or can only be obtained through very specific methods. Chatot can be found through both trading in early game or in the wild.
Where to Find Chatot
To get ahold of Chatot in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you will need to have beat the first gym leader and make it to Eterna City. Once there, you will want to catch an extra Buizel on Route 205.
Once you have Buizel, head to the Eterna Condominiums and talk to the child on the first floor that’s sitting at the table in the corner. Speak with him to trade Buizel for a level 15 Chatot. The Chatot you receive will be holding a Leppa Berry.
Chatot can also be caught in the wild; once you can catch wild a Chatot in the grass on Route 222 and Route 224. The best nature for Chatot is Timid, as it will be able to outrun any Pokemon with a speed stat of 90.
