Deepwater Kindle Weed Oil is a food resource and is used for purchasing food from cooks in Settlements. You will need to play a few hours before coming across your first settlement with a cook, which can be found at Chainscrape. The cook here will give you a side quest, which you must complete before unlocking the ability to get food. To make food, you will need to supply the cooking materials, and they will cook food for you, which will provide various buffs for Aloy.
