To find electric parts in Dying Light 2, you will need to search two primary locations in Dying Light 2 called Forsaken Stores and Evacuation Convoys, or buy them from merchants at the Bazaar. Both sites will hold varying amounts of electrical parts you will need to make bombs and certain weapon mods.

However, Evacuation Convoys can be challenging to loot as these locations are often guarded by many biters and one special infected. Because of this, it’s better to go with Forsaken stores early on in the game, but even these stores come with their own challenges.

In short, Forsaken stores are similar to the many Dark Hollows and loot locations scattered throughout the game and follow similar rules. Forsaken Stores will be filled with infected during the day, so it’s not safe or recommended to explore Forsaken Stores at that time.

Instead, you will need to wait until it is nighttime. At night the majority of Infected will wander out into the street, thus making stores easier to loot because of the low amount of Infected.

If you want to wait for the game to change to night, you can either do other tasks in the meant time or sleep in a safe zone using a bed. Once it is night, it will be safer to loot stores and other locations in the game.

Where to find Forsaken Stores in Dying Light 2

To find Forsaken Stores in Dying Light 2, players will need to explore the map until the location is revealed to them when they get near it.

A question mark will appear when players are near a potential loot location. This question mark indicates an unknown location, so exploring until the player reveals these unknown locations is recommended.

Sometimes if players are lucky, the location revealed will be a Forsaken Store that they can loot for electrical parts. Players can also find Forsaken stores by heading to a tall building and taking their binoculars out.

Using the binoculars, players can zero in on certain locations nearby to make finding stores easier. Also, looking for locations that look like abandoned shops or store locations can help narrow the search. When players find a Forsaken Store, it will appear on the map with an icon shown above.

Tips for looting Forsaken Stores in Dying Light 2

If you have trouble looting Forshaken Stores, here’s a few tips to follow to make things easier.

How to clear Evacuation Convoys in Dying Light 2

As you get stronger in Dying Light, a great source for electrical parts can be Evacuation Convoys, but clearing them is easier said than done. In short, there’s a ton of zombies and sometimes a really angry dude with a hammer hand.

Because of this, you will need to be smart on how you clear Evacuation Convoys to get to the sweet, sweet loot. That being said, here’s some tips for clearing these convoys in Dying Light 2.

The first tip we have is to look for red explosive gas tanks that are often placed next to the convoy. Using these tanks is a great way to clear the bulk of the zombies, so we recommend grabbing one of these tanks.

After grabbing one of these gas tanks, throw some meat or a distraction item like a decoy to draw zombies into a group. When the zombies are in a group hold the ignite key and then throw the gas tank and watch the fireworks afterward, you should clear a chunk of the horde out.

Next tip is to use dodge like your life depends on it when fighting the Goon (angry dude with hammer). Using dodge will help avoid attacks from the large tank zombie that often guards the convoys in the game.

After dodging their attacks, swing around the side, attack their back, and keep repeating until they are dead. You can also throw a ton of molotovs or c4 at them until the problem goes away - either method will work. Once everything that is angry is dead, you will be free to loot the area and gain electrical parts in Dying Light 2, provided you have lock picks.
