To find Oxidizers in Dying Light 2, players will need to search Forsaken Stores in the game or purchase them from merchants. Evacuation Convoys will also sometimes have Oxidizers as loot, but these take great effort to clear. Because of this, it’s better to go with the latter option.
If you want to try your hand at searching Forsaken Stores for Oxidizers, you will need to start by exploring the city. While exploring the city in Dying Light 2, you can find Forsaken Stores marked with an icon shown below, but you should not loot them during the day.
The main reason is that you will find large numbers of sleeping Infected or, as the game calls them, Sleeping Biters. It will be far more challenging to move around and loot the store. Plus, you will be missing out on bonus XP.
We recommend looting Forsaken Stores at night when most of the Infected will wander out into the street. That said, wait for night to fall, and then find a nearby Forsaken Store via its icon on the map.
How to find Oxidizers inside Forsaken Stores in Dying Light 2
To explore a Forsaken Store and find Oxidizers, you will need to find the entrance. Once inside, use stealth to navigate the area while looting containers.
While you are looting, make sure to use Survivor Sense. Doing so will allow you to mark all nearby loot inside a location. Survivor Sense will also mark the loot based on rarity, making it great for finding Oxidizers.
To find Oxidizers using Survivor Sense, look for blue loot icons after using Survivor Sense. Blue icons indicate rare loot, which includes Oxidizers. You can use Survivor Sense as a way to help you locate Oxidizers inside Forsaken Stores, along with other rare materials and items in the game.
